マルチリンガルシアター いよいよ本番！
Instant MIX Theatre labと我らがMiddlesex Universityの選抜学生チームによるマルチリンガル・シアター（多言語演劇）「Global warming and how we (don’t) respond to it」いよいよ明日開演です。 そして、これ、私のロンドンデビュー公演なのです！ １週間前にふって湧いた話だったし、ビザの関係で出演は無理かと一度諦めたので、なんだか本当に奇跡のように思えます。
この舞台は、イギリスはもちろん、ポーランド、ポルトガル、セルビア、フランスなどEU諸国の演劇学校生、翻訳研究の専門家、大学講師、プロの俳優やドラマターグが１週間リハーサル室にこもり、意見も体もぶつけ合って、作り上げた１時間強の作品。あくまで"work in progress"、完成版ではなく、作り上げている過程を発表するというスタイルだそうですが、衣装から場当たりまで、みんなこだわります。見ててハラハラするぐらい、みんな妥協しません…
Global warming and how we (don’t) respond to it
is a multi-lingual theatre project exploring our complex psychological reactions to climate change and why we so often fail to do anything about it. Devised and performed by an international cast of young theatre makers and students from the UK, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, and France, and inspired by the writings of climate psychologists, this work-in-progress presentation delves into the funny, twisted and often tragi-comic ways our climate change behaviours are ruled by anything but rational thought.
You can see this multi-lingual, scientific, comedy, partially musical and contemporary theatre project in progress at Middlesex University from 6th July.
